IGNOU DNHE Admission 2023: The deadline to apply for the IGNOU DNHE course for the Jan session 2023 is 31 January 2023. Indira Gandhi National Open University has a program called DNHE (Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education) for students who want to know more about nutrition and health or want to work in the food and drink industry ( private or Government sector). 

IGNOU DNHE Programme gives you in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge related to the vital task of nutrition and health education. Anyone who has completed his 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU is eligible for the program. The course duration is one year, but you could take up to three years depending on your convenience. You can study this program in English and Hindi language.

IGNOU DNHE Admission 2023-24

IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Programme is a holistic package that provides opportunities for the learner to gain knowledge about nutrition and public health. It also enables learners to communicate nutrition and health-related information to the Community. The program aims to develop a knowledge base in areas of nutrition and public health, promote awareness about concepts and principles in communication and their application in nutrition and health education, and develop skills in playing the role of nutrition/health educators in the Community.

Learners with a basic 10+2 qualification and an interest in community work will find the IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education very useful. It is a professional training program. IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to take admission to IGNOU DNHE must be well-known with the eligibility criteria. If a student fails to meet the eligibility criteria, they will not be able to submit the application form. The eligibility criteria are listed below:

  • Students must have 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board 
  • There is no age bar set by the university.

IGNOU DNHE Fee Structure

The program fee for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE) is Rs 3,000.

IGNOU DNHE Duration:

  • The minimum duration for the course: 1 year
  • The maximum duration for the course: 3 years

IGNOU DNHE Application Form 2023

The Application form in IGNOU for DNHE program is available online. Students who are interested and eligible for IGNOU DNHE course must apply through IGNOU’s portal. All programs require registration fee of INR 300. Students can deposit IGNOU application fees using debit/credit cards, or net banking. For future reference, students are required to print out/download a receipt after submitting their application.

IGNOU DNHE Assignment 

The deadline for the submission of the IGNOU DNHE June TEE assignment will soon announce. Students who are pursuing the IGNOU DNHE course need to submit the assignments of all the concerned subjects in the desired format as asked by the institution before the last date. The assignment can be submitted by the students by either visiting the study center of IGNOU or through the official assignment portal of IGNOU.

IGNOU DNHE Exam Form

IGNOU Exam form for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education will soon release; one who wants to appear for June TEE 2022 will have to fill out the exam form by the deadline. It is a must to submit the examination form before the deadline at the exam.ignou.ac.in. The conduction of the term-end examination takes place in two sessions (December and June).

IGNOU DNHE Study Material

IGNOU study material is available online and offline both. eGyanKosh is the online portal for DNHE Study material and is easily accessible to every student. Now students can access their DNHE course study material to complete their assignments. eGyanKosh also avails the previous year’s questions for preparing the next year’s exam. Those students who wish to get offline study material, have to go to the University nearest regional center.
