IGNOU DNHE Admission 2023: IGNOU DNHE course admission has commenced for the July session 2023. Applicants can apply before the last date 30 June 2023 at the official portal of the university @ignou.c.in. Indira Gandhi National Open University has a program called DNHE (Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education) for students who want to know more about nutrition and health or want to work in the food and drink industry ( private or Government sector). 

IGNOU DNHE Programme gives you in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge related to the vital task of nutrition and health education. Anyone who has completed his 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU is eligible for the program. The course duration is one year, but you could take up to three years depending on your convenience. You can study this program in English and Hindi language.

IGNOU DNHE Admission 2023-24

IGNOU started the admission for the DNHE program in July 2023 session, students can apply for the DNHE program before the last date is 30 June 2023. IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Programme is a holistic package that provides opportunities for the learner to gain knowledge about nutrition and public health. It also enables learners to communicate nutrition and health-related information to the Community.

The program aims to develop a knowledge base in areas of nutrition and public health, promote awareness about concepts and principles in communication and their application in nutrition and health education, and develop skills in playing the role of nutrition/health educators in the Community.

The IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education will be of particular interest to students with a basic 10+2 qualification who are interested in community work as a profession. There is a professional training program that is offered through this program. IGNOU DNEH program would also be beneficial to those who work in both the governmental and non-governmental sectors as community workers on a daily basis.

IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Eligibility Criteria

It is necessary for students who wish to enroll in IGNOU University to fulfill the eligibility criteria for this Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education, DNHE program. Admission will be rejected if any criteria are not met. following criteria are given below.

The program fee for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE) is INR 3,000.

  • The minimum duration for the course is 1 year
  • The maximum duration for the course is 3 years

IGNOU DNHE Application Form 2023

The Application form in IGNOU for the DNHE program will be available online. Students who are interested and eligible for the IGNOU DNHE course must apply through IGNOU’s portal. All programs require a registration fee of INR 300. Students can deposit IGNOU application fees using debit/credit cards, or net banking. For future reference, students are required to print out/download a receipt after submitting their application.

IGNOU DNHE Assignment

The deadline for the submission of the IGNOU DNHE June TEE assignment has been announced. Students who are pursuing the IGNOU DNHE course need to submit the assignments of all the concerned subjects in the desired format as asked by the institution before the last date is 15 May 2023. The assignment can be submitted by the students by either visiting the study center of IGNOU or through the official assignment portal of IGNOU.

IGNOU DNHE Exam Form

IGNOU Exam form for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education has been released one who wants to appear for June TEE 2023 must fill out the exam form by 10 May 2023 with a late fee of INR 1,100 up to 06:00 PM. It is a must to submit the examination form before the deadline at the @exam.ignou.ac.in. The conduction of the term-end examination takes place in two sessions (December and June).
