IGNOU Online MCA Programme
Indira Gandhi National Open University open admission portal of January session 2025 for PG level program of MCA. Students with a graduation degree in computer based courses can apply for MCA admission at IGNOU for the session 2025-26. Admissions are open for national and International students.
IGNOU Master in Computer Application (MCA) teaches students about the latest skills in computer software development. After graduating with this IGNOU MCA degree students will have the knowledge to create IT based solutions for business application problems. In the current market that is driven by AI and automation, IGNOU students study subjects like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud and Data Science, Software engineering etc.

MCA from IGNOU Eligibility Criteria
Online MCA admission eligibility requires students to have a computer based degree like BCA or BSc/BTec in computer science or IT. Students should graduate with their UG degrees from a UGC recognized university.
However, students without a computer based degree can still apply if they had Mathematics as one of their subjects in either 12th class or UG degree. Such students need to complete two bridge courses from IGNOU i.e, 1) Programming in C and Java, and 2) Data structure and algorithms.
IGNOU Online MCA Fee Structure 2025:
Both Indian and International students apply for IGNOU online MCA admission 2025. Online fee for IGNOU MCA is INR 12,700/- per semester for Indian students. For bridge courses the amount is Rs. 2000/- each.
International students from SAARC countries will have to pay Rs. 19,000/- per semester. IGNOU bridge courses MCS-201 and MCS-208 has an online fee of Rs. 2000/-. International students other than SAARC countries pay a fee of US ($) 1,300/- per semester.
There is an extra exam form fee for IGNOU students. Before the term end examination at the end of the academic semester IGNOU releases exam forms. Eligible students need to pay Rs. 200/- for every theory subject and Rs. 300/- for every MCA practical subject.
IGNOU Scholarship
