Certificate in Food and Nutrition Course IGNOU
IGNOU Online learning Certificate programme in Food and Nutrition (CFNOL) is an awareness programme for people with basic reading and writing skills. CFNOL syllabus covers food preparation and selection, nutrition value from infancy to old age. Students also study consumer rights and environmental cost of food and hygiene. IGNOU CFNOL course has recorded courses uploaded in Learning Management System (LMS).
Students get assignments and term end examinations (TEEs) as the combined grading system. Both CFNOL learning materials and assignments are downloadable from the IGNOU learning management system. IGNOU allows students to take up to 2 years to complete this course.

Step 1: Open IGNOU 2025 website for online courses @iop.ignouonline.ac.in
Step 2: Click on a link for “Apply Now” on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the nationality. Choose between: “Indian” or “International“.
Step 4: Fill in the opened registration form. Provide an email.
Step 5: Check the inbox. A username and password is sent to the mail.
Step 6: Open the 2025 admission portal. Login for CFNOL admission form.
Step 7: Enter the full information asked for in the application form.
Step 8: Upload CFNOL academic and personal documents.

IGNOU Certificate in Food and Nutrition Fee Structure
For Indian CFNOL applicants, the course fee needed is Rs. 1,400/-. While this fee changes for foreign students in two categories:
- SAARC students pay Rs. 4,000/-.
- Non-SAARC International has a fee grade of $ 300/-.
These amounts cover only the academic fee amounts. During the term-end examination students pay a form fee of Rs. 200/-. This amount is collected for every theory subject separately. IGNOU CFNOL application fee for 2025 session is Rs. 300/-.

IGNOU assignments for Food and Nutrition Online learning (CFNOL) are given on the Learning Management System (LMS) portal online. PDF download for offline solving is available for enrolled IGNOU CFNOL students. Assignments cover CFNOL syllabus in the form of subjective long form questions and objective type MCQs. IGNOU grade CFNOL assignments with 30% marks. It is necessary to submit Food and Nutrition certificate assignments to appear in the IGNOU term end examinations (TEEs). IGNOU CFNOL Fee Refund Policy
Students can choose to cancel IGNOU admission 2025 and get a 100% refund on their deposited amount. This can happen if they cancel their admission before final selection. However the IGNOU application fee is non-refundable.
After the final list of the certificate in Food and Nutrition is released, IGNOU refunds the fee after deducting a fine of 15%. This fine is taken on IGNOU CSLCOL course fee. However, the maximum amount is never taken over Rs. 2,000/-.
