• PG courses registration process is going to begin around 10 May 2026 by IGNOU for the July academic batch. The registration process can be completed online/offline for PG courses till 31 May 2026.

IGNOU Registration 2026

IGNOU will start the registration process for all UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in the July academic session. The applicants can register online for more than 315+ courses like BA, BCom, BBA, BCA, BSW, BSc, BLIS, MLIS, MBA, MCA, MCom, MSc, MSW, MAJMC, and many others.

The applicants are required to visit the official website @ignou.ac.in to fill out the registration form. IGNOU charge INR 300 for registration to all offered courses. The applicants who are interested in registration must have passed 10+2 grade for UG, Diploma, and Certificate courses, and a Bachelor’s degree for PG courses, for admission at IGNOU.

IGNOU Registration Process 2026

The applicants can complete the registration process online using the official web portal @ignou.ac.in for all courses. The applicants can follow the points mentioned below to register at IGNOU.

• Go to the official web portal of IGNOU @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.
• Click on the ‘Register Online’ dropdown icon.
• Select the “Fresh Registration” option.
• A new screen will appear showing Registration Portal July 2026.
• Hit the “Click Here for New Registration”
• Now, fill in all the personal details as required.
• Finally, click on the “Register” button.
• For multiple logins, applicants must have their username and password.

After registration, the next task will be the application form-filling process. The steps to fill out the application form are as follows:

• Once registration is completed, Login in using your Registered Username and Password.
• Now, fill in all the personal and educational qualifications.
• Next, provide all the details for the opted program.
• Upload all the required documents properly.
• Preview/edit the incorrect details, if any. 
• Make the payment through a Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking.
• Save and print the form for future use.

Registration Fee: The fee paid for the registration will be Rs 300, which is non-refundable. It is informed to the students that this fee will be paid along with the first-semester program fee.

IGNOU UG Registration 2026

Indira Gandhi National Open University will start the UG registration for the July 2026 academic session. The University offer courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Ed, and BLIS, in various specialisations available at the UG level. The applicants can register for all ODL or Online courses by visiting the official admission portal @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

In registration for undergraduate courses, applicants need to ensure that students are well-informed about the eligibility criteria required for registration into their desired programs. These are some of the eligibility requirements for the different courses available, and a few of them are mentioned below:

• BA: There are 14 specialisations provided under the BA program. To register in either specialisation, one must have passed Class XIIth.
• B.Sc: Those who have completed 10+2 with science subjects are eligible to register for B.Sc
• BCA: Aspirants must have done Class 12th from a standard board.
• B.Lis: Students must possess a UG degree with at least 50% marks. However, Graduates with a Diploma or work experience are also eligible for B.LiS.
• BCom: Those who have completed Class 12th can apply for B.Com. Those who are not 12th passed out but completed BPP from IGNOU can register themselves for the same.

IGNOU PG Registration 2026

IGNOU Registration process for various PG courses like MA, M.Com, MLIS, MCA, MSW, MBA, etc is going to start from 10 May 2026. The applicants can register for PG courses online through the official samarth portal. The last date of IGNOU PG Registration 2026 will be 31 May 2026*. Students interested in pursuing PG courses from IGNOU must meet certain eligibility criteria specified by the university. IGNOU registration criteria for PG admission are given below:

• IGNOU MBA: The University provides an MBA program in 9 specialisations to applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream.
• IGNOU MLIS: The students who want to apply for MLIS admission at this University must have acquire BLIS/UG degree from any recognised University.
• MA: To be eligible for an MA, one must have earned a BA degree from a valued university.
• M.Sc: Aspirants with a B.Sc degree in the related field can register for multiple specializations under M.Sc.
• M.Com: For M.Com, a Bachelor’s degree in related subjects is required from a renowned university.
• MSW: A Graduation degree is required to apply for MSW (General) and MSW (Counselling).
• MCA: Those who have graduated are eligible to opt for MCA. Also, they must have studied Mathematics either at 10+2 or UG level.

IGNOU PhD Registration 2026

After registration, students have to appear for the entrance examination. IGNOU Ph.D. registration fee is Rs. 1,000*, which is non-refundable. The registration process for IGNOU Ph.D/M.Phil courses are conducted by the university once in a year and in the July session. The registrations are conducted by the university at its official website and students are required to first complete the login process. By using the login credentials created in the login portal, the students would be able to get access to the registration form.
