IGNOU PGDDEOL Admission 2025 Last Date | Syllabus and Fees

IGNOU Online Postgraduate Diploma in Distance Education Admission 2025: Application for 2025 academic year is open for IGNOU PG Diploma in Distance Education Online Learning (PGDDEOL). Students can apply with an application fee of Rs. 300/-. Last date for PGDDEOL admission is 28 February 2025. 

PGDDEOL is a 1-year program. It is offered as a professional development programme for developing human resources for distance and open mode of learning. IGNOU PGDDEOL fees is Rs. 6,000/- for the whole yearly programme.Foreign students can apply with their national degrees.

What does IGNOU Online PG Diploma in Distance Education Teach?

IGNOU online Post graduate diploma in Distance Education (PGDDEOL) is an online degree offered for students interested in the management of distance education courses. IGNOU PGDDEOL syllabus include subjects such as Philosophy of Distance Education and Educational Communication Technologies. There are learning materials for PGDDEOL subjects available on the learning Management System (LMS). Made by IGNOU teachers, to access these online recorded classes, subject notes PDF, and radio shows students have to use their IGNOU PGDDEOL student login. 

IGNOU also grade assignments given to enrolled students in Distance Education online diploma. These assignments are also uploaded on IGNOU LMS. Students can download PGDDEOL assignments on their devices. They carry 30% marks in final IGNOU grade card. Last date to submit PGDDEOL assignment is 31 March. After the end of the semesters IGNOU will conduct a term end examination for the online Distance education diploma. 

IGNOU PGDDEOL Eligibility Criteria

Applications are open for Bachelor’s degree holders Indian students. Foreign students with UGC recognized graduate degrees are accepted for PGDDEOL admission 2025. No age limit for 2025 admission.

Online PG Diploma in Distance Education Admission Process

Step 1: Visit official online courses IGNOU portal. @iop.ignouonline.ac.in

Step 2: Enter email and contact details for “New Registration“.

Step 3: Check admission login details in the portal.

Step 4: Open the portal and fill the IGNOU online PG Diploma Distance Education admission form.

Step 5: Upload the required documents needed.

Step 6: Pay the IGNOU PGDDEOL application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application form.

• Equivalent degree for Foreign students
• Password for foreign students
• Identity proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or Passport)

IGNOU Distance Education Online PG Diploma Fees

Fees for IGNOU Distance Education PG diploma for Indian students is Rs. 6,000/- per year. This is the academic fee, over this students also have to pay an IGNOU PGDDEOL application of Rs. 300/- once during the admission process. Application fee is non refundable. 

Foreign candidates from SAARC and other countries have different fee structures. SAARC students pay Rs. 9,000/- per year as the academic fee. International students pay $ 600/- per academic year to IGNOU for PG Diploma in Distance Education online learning.

Additionally, exam form fee is collected every semester for Rs. 200/- for PGDDEOL theory subject. Practical exam fee is slightly more than the theory fee. IGNOU PG Diploma in Distance Education online learning practical exam fee is Rs. 300/-.

Step 2: Enter login details and open the homepage.

Step 3: On the homepage click on the course icon.

Step 4: Click “ALL” courses and see the total available programme list.

Step 5: Every LMS content available course will be displayed.

Step 7: Select the unit to download the learning material for.

Online PG Diploma Distance Education Assignments
