IGNOU Vijayawada Regional Centre: In June 2008, the Vijayawada Regional Centre was formed. IGNOU Regional Centre, Vijayawada, was established in July 2008 as a branch of the Regional Centre, Hyderabad.
IGNOU has started the admission procedure for all the UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programs at Vijayawada Regional Centre. The registration fee is INR 300 for all the courses. Candidates can visit the official website of IGNOU and fill out the registration form @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Initially, it started with 26 learner support centres, 24 from Hyderabad Regional Centre and 2 from Koraput Regional Centre. Now, it has worked with 49 learner support centres. Dr D.R. Sharma is the Director of this regional centre.

IGNOU Vijayawada Regional Centre Admission
IGNOU Vijayawada Regional Centre offers UG, PG, Diploma, and other Certificate courses. The admission process for the PG, UG, and other Courses has started at this regional centre for the July 2025 session. The admission process sessions are conducted in January and July for all programs offered by the university to students.

Facilities at IGNOU Vijayawada Regional Centre
There are many facilities Vijayawada IGNOU Centre provides for distance learning students.
- Contact Classes: Vijayawada Regional Centre online website releases schedule for contact classes. These are monthly session classes that are taken by IGNOU teachers. Students can go to website and check the schedule online.
- Library Services: Regional centre access for online books through UGC E-Shodh Sindhu Consortium. This portal also give research journals for research scholar. With more than 7900 e-journals and 1700 books.
- Study Material Management: Offline learning material and PDF distribution are done for enrolled IGNOU students. Vijayawada IGNOU Centre has computer lab service for online study material access.
IGNOU Assignment submissions have ended at the Vijayawada Regional Centre for the 2025 TEE. Students can submit their assignments at IGNOU Vijayawada RC or online at the university’s official portal.
The Submission Process for the IGNOU Exam form has ended for the June term-end examination at Vijayawada Regional Centre. Students need to visit the university’s official portal @exam.ignou.ac.in for the submission of the exam form.
