IGNOU Online MA Sanskrit Admission
The application form for admission to MA Sanskrit course at IGNOU will start from 3rd June 2026 for the July session. The application process can be completed in online/offline mode. The application form is required to be submitted before the deadline of 30 June 2026. Indira Gandhi National Open University offers a 2-year Online MA Sanskrit to eligibl in interested candidates in the July and January sessions. It focuses on language and grammar topics of Classical Sanskrit Literature and Vedic Literature. MA Sanskrit also has focused study of the philosophical literature of Sanskrit and the history of Sanskrit literature.

IGNOU Online MA Sanskrit Fee Refund Policy
Admission at IGNOU can be cancelled to get a refund. Amount of this refunded amount depends on the timing of admission cancellation. Students are eligible for a 100% fee refund before they are selected for the final admission. IGNOU releases the admission list after submission of application form. Students can apply for admission cancellation in between that time to get a total return of the submitted course fee.
In case of students applying for admission cancellation after IGNOU selects students for MA in Sanskrit course, a fine of 15% of the course fee will be deducted. Maximum fine amount is Rs. 2,000/-. However, IGNOU fee refund policy does not allow students to apply for refund after 60 days of the admission last date.
