As per the University Grant Commission (UGC) the Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) course is not offered in distance education. The duration of the PGD in Intellectual Property Rights program is three years, divided into six semesters. The minimum eligibility requirement is graduation with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university.

Typically, the cost of pursuing this IGNOU Law Admission program is between INR 10,000 and INR 3,00,000. These courses are admitted based on the marks in previous education. The students have the option of applying both online and offline.

• Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR): A one-year program (extendable up to three years) requiring graduation in any discipline, with a fee of ₹10,200.
