IGNOU Cochin Regional Centre is situated in Kerala. The centre was formed in 1988. It aims to provide open education to the students of Cochin. Seven districts come under its jurisdiction. An award was given to it for Best Online Courses 2020.

IGNOU Cochin Regional Centre Admission 2023
All UG, PG, certificate, and diploma-based course application forms have been released for the July session 2023. Students can apply for IGNOU Cochin Regional Center Admission before 30 September 2023.
At the IGNOU Cochin Regional Centre, students can access a wide choice of programs at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels, the Diploma and Certificate levels, the PG and advanced diploma, and PG and advanced and advanced certificate levels. It has been discovered that this particular regional center offers 30 certificate programs, making it the most extensive of all the available options.

Master of Arts in Sociology (MSO)
- This course requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or any higher degree from a recognized university.
- The minimum duration for this course is 2 Years.
- The maximum duration of this course is 5 Years.
- There is no minimum or maximum age limit for this course.
- In this course will be learning about Sociology Theories and Concepts, the Sociology of Religion, Decentralization, Local Governance, etc.
Master Of Education (MEd)
- This course requires a degree holder in B.Ed/BEIEd with a minimum percentage of Fifty-five(55%).
- The minimum duration for this course completion is 2 Years.
- This course can be extended with a maximum duration of 4 Years.
- There is no maximum or minimum age bar for applying to this course.
- The main purpose of this program is to provide a global as well as national vision for education to teachers, educators, and educational administrations.

Admission forms are submitted in the following stages:

- You will be assigned a User Name and Password upon completing the Registration Process.
- You will receive an SMS and email informing you of your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’.
- Sign in using your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ again.
- Submit your application online.
- Please upload a recent passport-sized photograph in JPG format (maximum size 100 KB).
- Send your specimen signature in JPG format (maximum size 100KB).
- Send scanned copies of the relevant documents (each document must not exceed 200KB in JPG/PDF format).
