IGNOU Admission January Session 2026-27 Registration Process
- Step 1: Visit the official IGNOU admissions portal by going to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for ODL programs or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in for online programs
- Step 2: To create a username and password, click New Registration and enter your basic information, including name, email address, and mobile number
- Step 3: Complete the application by entering your academic and personal information after logging in with your new login credentials. Choose your preferred study location and program
- Step 4: Scan and upload the necessary paperwork, such as your signature photo and diplomas. Make sure they fall within the allotted file size constraints

How to Create ABC ID and DEB ID for IGNOU Admission January Session 2026
Steps to Create ABC ID:-
- Step 1: Open the DigiLocker app or visit the website.
- Step 2: Click Create Account and enter your mobile number, full name and birthdate.
- Step 3: Use the OTP that was sent to you to validate your mobile number.
- Step 4: You must use your Aadhaar number to confirm your identity to generate your ABC ID.
- Step 5: Log in to your DigiLocker account after creating it.
- Step 6: Click Get Document or follow the directions to create your ABC ID after navigating to the ABC ID section. Your ABC ID will be generated or retrieved.
Steps to Create DEB ID:-
- Step 1: Check out the UGC-DEB website. Put your ABC ID in the space provided.
- Step 2: The system will retrieve your information using your ABC ID.
- Step 3: Your email address and mobile number might be required.
- Step 4: To finish creating the DEB ID, follow the on-screen directions.
- Step 5: To be admitted to IGNOU you will need your DEB ID which will be generated.
