Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU Courses
Bachelor’s Degree Programme: Those applicants who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree, must have a 10+2 certificate from any recognized educational board with a minimum of 45% marks to be eligible for IGNOU admission.
Duration: Generally, the duration of Bachelor’s degree programs is three years, but from this January session, IGNOU implemented NEP 2020 and offered a four-year duration UG programme.
Master’s Degree Programme: For a Master’s degree program, candidates must complete their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks to be eligible for IGNOU admission.
MBA program: Candidates must have passed graduation with 50% marks. For the reserved category, applicants have 45% marks. OPENMAT entrance exam will not be part of MBA admission at the IGNOU. The selection will be based on marks obtained in previous education.
Certificate Programme: Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board to be eligible for certificate programs.
Diploma Programme: Students who have passed intermediate with 50% aggregate are eligible to apply. Graduates who are willing to join diploma programs can also apply.
B.LIS course: Aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Students with either a diploma or two years of working experience in the library field and an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for B.LIS.
