IGNOU PGDDCOL Admission 2026: Post Graduate Diploma in Development Communication admission will open soon in the 2026 session. This PG diploma IGNOU course will open for all graduate students. Online IGNOU PGDDCOL application fee is Rs. 300/-. The last date to apply for IGNOU PGDDCOL admission will be 31 May 2026. What is IGNOU PG Online Diploma in Development Communication

Online Postgraduate in Development Communication is a 1 Year IGNOU course for study of communication techniques between policy makers and the public. There are subjects like Human Development and Communication which deals with the content related to the human resource policies. IGNOU teaches the role of media in communication of the new steps that are being taken for economical, sociological, and cultural development. Online learning materials on the subject help students to fine tune their studies with the help of resources like online classes (recorded), PDFs, and radio shows (IGNOU Gyanvaani).

IGNOU PGDDCOL enrolled students learn with assignments. They carry questions from the Development Communication course syllabus in subjective and objective type. At the end of the semester students appear for the Term End Examination. These are conducted for an online PG Diploma in Development course for the final assessment.

Eligibility for IGNOU PG Development Communication Diploma

• IGNOU online registration form will open according to the selected nationality of the candidate. Register by providing the email, phone number, and name.
• Visit back the inbox of the email. Find new username and password for PGDDCOL admission student login portal.
• Enter the username and password to 2026 IGNOU admission portal.
• Start filling the admission form and select PGDDCOL as the subject.
• Upload the documents mentioned on the admission form.
• Pay the application fee online.
• Submit the IGNOU PGDDCOL admission form.

IGNOU PGDDCOL Fees

Both International and national students can submit their IGNOU PGDDCOL admission fee online. Indian candidates pay Rs. 5,000/- for this 1 year PG Diploma in Development Communication. This fee is collected after the admission process is completed and it is a refundable fee. Similarly, IGNOU PGDDCOL admission fee for SAARC students is Rs. 8,000/-. While other international students pay $550 for IGNOU PGDDCOL course.

The application fee paid during the online admission process is non-refundable. Similarly, the exam fee collected every semester can not be given back.

IGNOU Online PGDDCOL  Assignments

Practice assignment PDFs are available every semester for students to practice the PGDDCOL syllabus. Online assignments carry subjective and MCQ questions. They are based on the practical application of the course theory. These assignments have 30% weightage in the final IGNOU grade card.

Enrolled candidates can have admission canceled for the PG Diploma in Developmental Communication online learning. They can get a 100% fee refund before finally being selected for the IGNOU PGDDCOL admission 2026. After IGNOU selects a student, they get fined for 31 % of the PGDDCOL programme fee. No fee refund is available after 60 days after admission ends.
