IGNOU OPENMAT MBA and Management Entrance Exam 2023

IGNOU OPENMAT is the entrance test for the MBA programme at Indira Gandhi National Open University. NTA administers it on behalf of Indira Gandhi National Open University. It is a test of management skills. It is also used to get into other management programs given by IGNOU’s School of Management Studies that are not MBA.

IGNOU OPENMAT Result:

After the completion of the Entrance, exam candidates need to wait for the results process as all the procedures will be started. The Results are declared online by the university.

What After Clearing OPENMAT Exam? 

Open MAT is an Entrance Test that IGNOU conducts for the MBA and management courses. This Entrance consists of a Management Aptitude test which includes basic interrogative questions for the IGNOU MBA and Management admissions. 

Students without clearing the Open MAT test cannot enrol for the MBA Admissions in IGNOU. Also, IGNOU is considered to be the finest university for an MBA and program designed for management courses. 

Once the student clears the Open MAT entrance test, the counselling procedure starts at the initial stage. The procedure is structured according to the candidate’s location, and a nearby study centre is fixed for the student’s counselling process. Generally, the counselling process takes place on weekends. 

Accordingly, this university also introduces interactive sessions through online presence and gives knowledge of the other academic curriculum of the subjects, and makes students aware of the study pattern that will be followed. 

IGNOU OPENMAT EXAM Pattern

This exam is conducted through CBT (Computer-based test) mode. There will be 200 objective-type questions, and the marks are equivalent for the same. The language can only be English. Hence no one can pick any other language than this. The exam has divided into four sections:

Test 1: This represents general awareness and carries 30 questions.

Test 2: The influence of the English language has shown here, where 50 questions are to be asked in the English language.

Test 3: This third section stands for quantitative aptitude where again 50 questions appear.

Test 4: This is one of the significant parts of this exam, where reasoning emerges to test the aspirant’s skills. The number of questions here is 70.

In such a way, the total number of questions collectively is 200, and there will be no negative marking; hence an applicant can attempt those questions as well to which they have some doubts.
