• Step 1: Online Registration
  • Visit the official IGNOU website and click on the ‘Register Online’ section.

  • Verify your account through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.

IGNOU Patna Regional Centre Eligibility

IGNOU has set certain criteria for its courses. General eligibility criteria for UG courses at IGNOU is a 12th pass qualification. For some courses students also have to show a specific subject in their 12th pass certificate during the admission process at IGNOU Patna Regional Center. There is no minimum marks criteria for any bachelor level course.

Similarly for IGNOU PG programmes a relevant bachelor’s degree in required subject is needed. This must be from a UGC approved university. Students have no upper age limit for IGNOU admission in any subject. These distance courses are open to every age group.

Eligibility of Diploma and Certificate courses depends on the course and degree chosen. Some diploma courses require a bachelor’s degree, while many IGNOU Diploma programmes use only a 12th qualification as the eligibility criteria.

Master Of Arts (Sociology) (MOS):
