The University will soon start accepting the admission forms for the online MCom course in the July 2026 academic year for interested and eligible candidates. IGNOU admission for the MCom course is being conducted online through the official website @ignou.ac.in. IGNOU Online MCom admission 2026 last date will be 30 April 2026. The applicants who have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or any other stream can pursue IGNOU Online MCom courses. The application form fee for this course is INR 300, which is paid at the time of admission.

IGNOU Online MCom Eligibility Criteria

Online MCom course is only open for Indian students. Students from all over the country are accepted in this course on a first come first serve basis. There is no criteria set for minimum marks for IGNOU Online MCom admission 2026. Students need a bachelor’s degree for MCom application. This degree must be from a UGC recognized university.

IGNOU Online MCom Application Process

• Step 1: Go to the IGNOU admission website @ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
• Step 2: Register to create an account on this portal. Click on “New Registration“.
• Step 3: Enter name, email, and mobile number.
• Step 4: New admission username will be sent to the registered email.
• Step 5: Login on the online admission portal. 
• Step 6: Start filling the admission form. Start by entering the asked personal information.
• Step 7: Give accurate details about academic and personal information.
• Step 8: Upload the documents that support the information offered in the admission form.

IGNOU Online MCom Fee Structure

Total program fees are INR 18,600/- for 2 yeaINR Students can pay the fee in semester wise payment method paying INR 4,650/-. While applying online for admissions students must submit an application fee of INR 300/-. This is a one time payment and is non refundable.

Additionally students need to pay INR 200/- for IGNOU term end examination forms. This amount needs to be paid for each MCom subject every semester. Similarly, for every practical subject IGNOU accepts INR 300/- every semester.

IGNOU MCom Fee Refund Policy

Students can take back their admission request at any time during the admission process. If that happens students get their fee refunded according to the IGNOU MCom fee refund policy. In this policy IGNOU allows 100% fee refund for students who cancel their admission before the finalization of the application.

Students who apply for admission cancellation after their application is accepted will have to face a fine of 15% if they cancel their admission. This covers the procedure fee for the online application. However, students must also note that once the last date of admission passes they can cancel their admission only 60 days after it. After 60 days no fee will be refunded.

Examination Pattern

• Each course has assignments and a term-end exam
• Assignments are usually done online and count for 30% of your grade
• IGNOU take Term-end exams twice a year (June and December) and the term end exams count for 70%
• The passing marks is at least 40%. Both assignments and exams have this criteria.
• IGNOU Grade card will be released in a month after the Term-end exams 2026.
