IGNOU Online DNHE Admission 2025 Last Date | Syllabus & Fee

IGNOU Online Nutrition and Health Education Admission 2025: DNHEOL admission is open at IGNOU for 2025 admission. IGNOU DNHEOL eligibility criteria is 12th class or equivalent diploma. DNHE candidates will have to deposit an online IGNOU application fee of Rs. 300/- on the admission portal. IGNOU DNHE last date to apply on 15 March 2025.

IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education syllabus has subjects in community health and Health education. IGNOU DNHEOL course fee is Rs. 3,000/-. Outside India students can apply for 2025 IGNOU DNHE admission 2025.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers community health 1-year diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE). IGNOU offers DNHE to Indan and International students. IGNOU students study the concept of nutrition and diet maintenance in DNHE course. 

IGNOU offers Nutrition and Health Diploma learning material on Learning Management System (LMS). It requires a student login that is given to IGNOU enrolled students after DNHE online admission process 2025. Audio course self learning materials (SLM) is available as radio shows, recorded video classes and study notes.

Additionally, Diploma assignments for DNHE are given by IGNOU every semester.  IGNOU term end examinations (TEEs) are conducted at the end to assess the performance of IGNOU DNHE students. 

IGNOU DNHE Eligibility Criteria

Indian students can apply for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education after completing 12th from Indian state and national boards. 12th qualification is accepted by boards like UP Board, Uttarakhand Board, Andhra Board, CBSE, ICSE etc. International students can apply with an Indian 12th equivalent degree.

DNHE admission requires no age limit. Students can fill DNHE admission form online on the IGNOU admission portal.

IGNOU Online DNHE Admission Process

Step 1: Applying to IGNOU visit the online admission portal. @iop.ignouonline.ac.in

Step 2: Open the “Apply Now“ link on the homepage.

Step 3: Select the nationality of the applying candidate “Indian” or “International”.

Step 4: Register and start the new admission process 2025. Email and mobile number are used to get the student username and password.

Step 5: Get to the inbox and copy the IGNOU student login ID.

Step 6: Pay the IGNOU DNHE application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application fee.

DNHEOL IGNOU Fees

Academic fee for IGNOU DNHEOL is Rs. 3,000/-.  Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education course fee for SAARC students is Rs. 8,000/-. Other International Nutrition and Health Education candidates pay $ 600/-. IGNOU Application fee for admission process 2025 is Rs. 300/-. Additionally, IGNOU accepts a fee for exam form filling. Rs. 200/- for DNHE theory subjects and Rs. 300/- for practical exams are collected by IGNOU. 

Application fee is not refundable. Similarly, exam fee will be an absolute payment without a refundable policy.

IGNOU Online DNHE Assignments

MCQ type questions and subjective question papers are made for enrolled DNHEOL students. IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education programme are uploaded on the Learning Management System (LMS). They are used to grade the 30% marks in the final DNHE grade card.

Students can submit the IGNOU DNHEOL assignment till 31 March 2025. IGNOU uses assignment as the term end examination (TEE) eligibility criteria for IGNOU DNHEOL. To appear in the final paper DNHE enrolled students must submit a limited number of IGNOU assignments.

IGNOU DNHE Evaluation System

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) online DNHE is a course of 24 credits. There are mixed evaluation techniques that IGNOU uses. IGNOU online DNHE assignments are used for continuous performance evaluation of enrolled students. Whereas, IGNOU DNHE term end examinations (TEEs) are used for final assessment every semester. Using a combined approach IGNOU makes sure to give students every opportunity to keep their grades up.

• Continuous Assessment: DNHEOL Assignments with 30% weightage.
• Term-End Examinations: TEE contains 70% marks in the final DNHE grade card.

IGNOU DNHE Placements 

Although, there are no direct placement schemes for DNHE students IGNOU still provides jobs and internship opportunities. Campus Placement Cell (CPC) helps students to prepare themselves for interviews and professional life. IGNOU Regional centres are used to organize jobs and internship expos. 

IGNOU placement sessions and interviews are announced on the regional centers website. Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education students can participate in interviews with companies like SBI Life Insurance. IGNOU has kept the email ID for accepting resume and biodata of students @campusplacement@ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU DNHE Fee Refund

DNHE enrolled students can get 100% fee refund before the final list of selected candidates is released. After final admission IGNOU offers a fee refund on DNHE deposit fee after a fine of 15%. However the maximum amount of this fine is limited to Rs. 2,000/- for every student. No fee refund is given after 60 days from IGNOU DNHEOL admission last date.

Online IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Fee Refund

Step 1: Compose an admission cancellation email. 

Step 2: Use the same email as given during the 2025 IGNOU online DNHE admissions process.

Step 2: Mention full details like Programme Name (Online Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education), Candidate’s Name (As mentioned in the admission form), and IGNOU Enrollment Number.

Step 3: Send the composed email to @canceladms@ignou.ac.in. 

Step 4: Notifying the student, IGNOU will start the fee refund/admission cancellation procedure.
