Admissions are open at IGNOU admission portal for Certificate in Tribal Studies (CTRBS). Eligible students can apply for this 6 month certificate programme. IGNOU CTRBS Eligibility

Online Application Process for CTRBSOL
Step 1: Go to the IGNOU online website. Visit website for online courses @iop.ignouonline.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on “Apply Now“.
Step 3: Select the nationality. “Indian” or “International” students are the two options given.
Step 4: Registration form for admission process 2025 will open. Fill the IGNOU registration form with email and mobile number.
Step 5: Login ID for CTRBS admission portal will be sent to the registered email.
Step 6: Open the admission portal and login with the new credentials. Indian and International students have different CTRBS admission portals.
Step 7: Start filling the admission form.
Step 8: Upload the documents needed.
Step 9: Pay the application fee and submit the admission form.

IGNOU CTRBS Fee Structure
There are different fee structure for CTRBS course for students of different nationality. Indian students have to pay Rs. 900/- for the full programme. While applying for IGNOU Online CTRBS Admission 2025, an application fee of Rs. 300/- will be paid.
Foreign students from SAARC nations will be asked for Rs. 2,000/- for CTRBS programme. International students from Non-SAARC countries will have pay $ 100. These fee amounts cover the academic fee for these courses, students have to pay Rs. 200/- as an examination fee per subject. Practical and project examination fee is Rs. 300/- per subject. These fee needs to paid during the Term End Examination.

IGNOU Online CTBRSOL Fee Refund Policy
IGNOU CTBRSOL fee refund policy for 2025 allows students to cancel admission within a certain time. Fee refund can be initiated before admission confirmation to get 100% CTBRSOL fee refund. After the IGONU online Certificate in Tribal Studies admission 2025-26 is confirmed, a fine of 15% course fee is imposed on cancellation requests.
Upper amount for the fine is Rs. 2000/-. Students can apply till 60 days from CTBRSOL last date of admission. After 60 days have passed, no refund is allowed.

IGNOU CTRBS Fee Refund Steps
Step 1: Compose a new email from account registered during the CTRBS admission process 2025.
Step 2: Write admission cancellation email request. Mention name, subject details, and enrollment number.
Step 3: Send the mail to admission cancel department @canceladms@ignou.ac.in.
Step 4: Wait for a reply from IGNOU.
Step 5: IGNOU will start the fee refund procedure accordingly.
IGNOU Online CTRBS Course
IGNOU tribal study course CTRBS deals with the culture and geographical history of Tribes of India. It gives students a course syllabus of 4 subjects. These subjects teach students about various aspects of Indian tribes. IGNOU helps the learning of students by providing learning materials produced by IGNOU teachers and Tribal subject matter experts. These IGNOU CTRBS learning materials are downloadable from Learning Management System (LMS).
Similarly to the learning materials, students also get assignments, which are used for course practice. Students must submit these CTRB assignments for 30% marks in the final IGNOU grade card. Exam form eligibility also depends on IGNOU assignments. IGNOU will allow students to fill the term end exam forms only if they have submitted CTRBS assignments before the given deadlines.

IGNOU CTRBS Assignments
IGNOU assignment submission last date is 31st March 2025 for Online CTRBS program. Students must submit a minimum number of assignments to be eligible for the June Term-end examination 2025. If students do not submit their assignments they can not fill the term exam form.
