IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025: Application is open for IGNOU Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE) program for 2025 session. DNHE program is designed for students interested in nutrition, health promotion, and community education. Minimum eligibility require is a 12th qualification. IGNOU also accepts a diploma with a 12th equivalent level to apply for the IGNOU DNHE program. The cost of this program is INR 3,000. Applications are accepted online on the official IGNOU admission portal. IGNOU DNHE last date 2025 January session is 31 March 2025.

This one-year program teaches key subjects such as Public Health and Nutrition, Nutritional Biochemistry, Nutrition and Food Safety, and Community Nutrition. Upon completion, students can pursue careers in nutrition education, health counseling, and community outreach.

DNHE Admission 2025 IGNOU

Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education is a 1 year diploma course. This course teaches about nutrition value and effective ways to communicate that knowledge with the community. Students with a 12th or equivalent qualification can apply to this course online. Applications will be accepted on the ODL admission portal. @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in

Students study subjects like Public Health and Hygiene and Nutrition and Health Education. These subjects teach the importance of communication in health and hygiene sector. Students with the help of IGNOU contact classes learn to discuss health issues and knowledge.

Course fee for DNHE is accepted online on the IGNOU student login. Application process will remain open till 31 March 2025 for the current academic session.

IGNOU DNHE Eligibility Criteria

DNHE students will have to apply with their 12th pass certificate. This diploma course does not need any specific subjects. Students can apply after completing their 12th class from education boards like Assam School Board, Rajasthan School Board, CBSE, and other national and school boards. There are no entrance examinations for IGNOU admission 2025. Students of every age group are welcomed to apply for IGNOU DNHE admission 2025.

Fee Structure DNHE Course

Students will have to pay fees for various stages of the IGNOU admission process. IGNOU collects DNHE course fees for:

  1. Academic fee: Rs. 3,000 for the full IGNOU diploma course
  2. One-time registration fee of Rs. 300 for new IGNOU students
  3. Exam fee per semester, for theory subjects Rs. 200/- per subjects, for practicals – Rs. 300/-.
  4. A one time payment of Rs. 200/- as the university development fee.

IGNOU Application Process for DNHE

Step 1: Go to ODL admission portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Click for “New Registration“.

Step 3: Login to the admission portal with the newly registered account.

Step 4: Start filling the IGNOU admission form. Fill in all the details asked.

Step 5: Select IGNOU DNHE in the subject part.

Step 6: Upload all the required documents.

Step 7: Pay the application fee for IGNOU DNHE.

Step 8: Submit the IGNOU application form.

IGNOU DNHE Offline Admission

Step 1: Visit the nearest IGNOU regional admission.

Step 2: Get to “Student Service Cell” in the building.

Step 3: Get the DNHE admission form.

Step 4: Get a ball pen and write personal and academic details.

Step 5: For the detail verification give documents photocopies.

Step 6: Pay the processing/application fee for DNGE IGNOU course. 

Step 7: Submit the DNHE admission form.

Examination Pattern

The IGNOU DNHE Admission follows a comprehensive assessment approach. Students must complete assignments for each course as part of continuous evaluation. These assignments help reinforce learning and prepare for the final exam. The term-end examination is conducted twice a year, in June and December.

The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and short-answer type questions. It tests students’ understanding of key nutrition and health education concepts. The exam duration is typically 3 hours. To pass, students need to score a minimum of 40% in both assignments and the term-end exam separately.

How to Fill IGNOU DNHE Exam Form

Step 1: Go to the official website of IGNOU.

Step 2: Click on the “Student Service” section.

Step 3: Get to the exam section.

Step 4: Click on the IGNOU exam form link is available on the website.

Step 5: Fill in the IGNOU DNHE subject code and details.

Step 6: Pay the exam form fee for Rs. 200/- per subject and submit the form.

Students can also visit the regional centre to fill the exam form offline.

IGNOU DNHE Assignment

IGNOU Assignments help in evaluation of DNHE students’ performance. They help student in practical learning by providing real world based problems to students. IGNOU releases a deadline before which IGNOU assignments should be submitted. Tentative last date for DNHE assignments is March 31st, 2025.
