IGNOU Online CAL Admission 2025: For the January 2025 session IGNOU is accepting applications for Certificate in Arabic Language. Students can apply on the IGNOU online admission portal 2025. Candidates need just a 12th pass certificate for online CAL application. Students can pay an application fee of Rs. 300/-. Last date to fill the IGNOU Certificate in Arabic admission form is 31 March 2025.

Students learn communication and grammar skills in Arabic using subjects like Basic of Arabic Language and Communication Skills. IGNOU assignments in Arabic language are given to students during the semester course. They can complete these assignments using IGNOU learning management system (LMS). For the final exam students will have to appear in the term-end examination at the end of every semester.

IGNOU Online CAL Admission

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the admission process for Online Learning Certificate in Arabic Language (CALOL). This certificate progamme is a 6-month course. Students can use IGNOU admission portal to apply for this online course. IGNOU offers this programme twice every year in January to June and July to December session.

This programme aims to develop an intermediate level of proficiency in Arabic language. For this IGNOU provides online learning support through Learning Management System (LMS). This is an online collection of learning materials like subject notes, recorded classes, and radio shows. These can be accessed by students after completing IGNOU online Certificate in Arabic Language admission 2025.

IGNOU Certificate in Arabic Language Eligibility Criteria

Students can apply for the Arabic language certificate after completing their 12th class. IGNOU accepts state and national board certificates. UP Board, Delhi School Board, Telangana Board, CBSE etc are accepted. Students can also apply with a 12th equivalent certificate. Although, students without any formal education are also welcomed for this course. Candidates who are over 18 years of age can apply without any formal education.

International students can also apply following the same rules. They can show a 12th equivalent qualification or apply after getting 18 years old.

IGNOU CAL Online Programme Fee Structure

Indian students need to deposit Rs. 1,800/- as the Certificate in Arabic course fee. This fee can be paid just after the final selection. Whereas, SAARC students can pay Rs. 3,000/- for this 6 month course. International students apart from SAARC students have to pay a course fee amount of $ 150/-.

Application fee for the online Certificate in Arabic language admission is Rs. 300/-. Exam form fee for IGNOU term end examination is Rs. 200/- for theory subjects for every student.

IGNOU CAL Online Admission Process

Step 1: Open the official online courses website. @iop.ignouonline.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Apply Now” link.

Step 3: Select the Nationality of the candidate: “Indian” or “International“.

Step 4: Registration form will open according to the selected nationality. Provide email ID and mobile number.

Step 5: Copy the new username and password for online CAL admission portal from the inbox of the registered email.

Step 6: Visit the CAL admission portal. Login using new admission credentials.

Step 7: Fill in the IGNOU CAL application form. Enter the details like personal information and academic details online. 

Step 8: Upload the required documents mentioned on the form. 

Step 9: Pay the IGNOU online CAL application fee.

Step 10: Click the submit button and submit the online application form.

IGNOU Online Fee Refund

Students can cancel their Certificate in Arabic Language (CAL) admission. They can get their deposited fee refunded. Fee refund can only be made within 60 days after the last date of Certificate in Arabic Language admission 2025.

Cancellation requests that are made after before the final selection list get 100% fee back. However, applying for a refund after the final list students will have to pay 15% fine on the CAL course fee. Maximum payable fine is Rs. 2,000/-.

How to Make IGNOU Fee Refund Request

Step 1: Open the registered email account with IGNOU.

Step 2: Send a mail for IGNOU Certificate in Arabic language admission cancellation to the mail address canceladms@ignou.ac.in.

Step 3: Candidate’s details like Enrollment number, Name, and Course Name and Code.

Step 4: Send the mail to IGNOU admission cancellation department.

IGNOU Certificate in Arabic Language Study Material

Online recorded classes and notes are available for IGNOU enrolled students for Certificate in Arabic Language. IGNOU prepares the learning materials for Arabic language Certificate course with the help of Arabic language teachers and subject matter experts. These notes and are then uploaded to Learning Management System (LMS) for enrolled students to download. Students will be provided login ID for LMS after IGNOU CAL admission 2025.

Step 3: After LMS login, look for the course icon.

Step 4: Click it to view “ALL” online courses.

Step 5: Every available LMS IGNOU live content will be displayed.

IGNOU Arabic Language Assignments

IGNOU Assignment must be completed and submitted before the deadline. The last date to submit the CAL assignments is 31st March 2025. To appear for June CAL TEE a minimum number of IGNOU assignments must be submitted. Candidates can complete the submission procedure online on LMS website. @lms.ignouonline.ac.in

These assignments contain objective and subjective type questions on the syllabus of Arabic language. These are selected by IGNOU teachers and Arabic subject matter experts. IGNOU Online CAL Exam Form

IGNOU Exam Form submission starts 1 month before the Term-End Examination. Students fill out the examination forms online with an exam form fee of Rs. 200/- for every theory subject. Exam forms will be available on the official website of IGNOU.
