IGNOU Online BCom Programme
IGNOU invites students to apply for admission in the online BCom admission 2025 session in January. Students from India and other countries including SAARC (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka) and other international students are accepted for this online course. Bachelor of Commerce is a business and finance focused programme. Students study subjects like Financial Accounting, Principle of Marketing, Business Communication, etc.
IGNOU is a UGC approved university which offers distance and online courses. Students are eligible to apply for IGNOU BCom course after 12th class. IGNOU has kept no maximum age limit to apply. Students can use the multiple entry exit options during the online BCom course. This is because IGNOU follows the New Education Policy (NEP) for the year 2025.
Students are given online study materials for the IGNOU BCom programme. This is given to students using the Learning Management System (LMS). An online portal, LMS is created for students to watch recorded lectures, classes, and online BCom course modules.

IGNOU Online BCom Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to fill the IGNOU BCom admission form students must complete 12th class. They should carry a state or national board passing certificate. Foreign students can show a 12th standard equivalent qualification. Maximum age criteria is not required for IGNOU online BCom admission 2025-26.
IGNOU BCom admissions are merit based and there is no entrance exam for students. First-Come, First-Served admissions will be conducted. Students who apply early while seats are remaining at IGNOU will get the admission.
IGNOU Online B.Com Application Process
Step 1: Visit the online admission website @iop.ignouonline.ac.in
Step 2: On the home screen students can click on the “Apply Now” icon.
Step 3: A dialogue box opens prompting students to choose “Indian” or “International Students”. Select the nationality.
Step 4: IGNOU web form for the online admission registration will open. Start filling the admission form.
Step 5: A login ID will be forwarded to the email used for registration.
Step 6: Open the online admission portal. Different admission portals are provided to Indian Students and Foreign students.
Step 7: Login to the admission portal.
Step 8: Start filling the online BCom IGNOU admission form.
Step 9: Documents for BCom admission must be uploaded to the portal.
Step 10: Pay the application fee.
Step 11: Submit the form for IGNOU online BCom.

IGNOU Online B.Com Fee Structure
Total Online BCom program fees for Indian students at IGNOU is Rs. 12,000. This is payable per semester. IGNOU collects fees through online payment methods like UPI, debit card payments, credit cards, etc. It also accepts demand drafts for the BCom course.
International students who belong to SAARC countries need to pay Rs. 6,000/- per year. While IGNOU online BCom fees for other foreign students is $ 400 per year.
Additionally, students need to pay Rs. 300/- as the application fee for IGNOU BCom online admission process. An exam form fee for every theory and practical subject is also collected every semester. Students need to pay Rs. 200/- for every theory subject and Rs. 300/- per practical subject.

IGNOU Online BCom Fee Refund
Students can cancel online BCom admission while applying online. This is possible with the help of IGNOU admission cancellation policy. BCom candidates get 100% fee refund if they cancel admission before being accepted for the IGNOU online BCom programme. However the application fee is non-refundable.
IGNOU allows students to cancel their admission even after they are selected for the Online BCom programme. Students can cancel their admission until 60 days from the last day of the admission process. This way IGNOU refunds the deposited fee after deducting up to 15% fine of the course fee. But the maximum fine IGNOU can impart is Rs. 2,000/-.
