IGNOU MA Fee Refund
Candidates can decide to withdraw their IGNOU MA application. This can be done online using the IGNOU admission portal. These students can cancel the admission process for 2026-27 using the online student login. If students have submitted their IGNOU MA admission fee, they can apply for a refund in such cases. IGNOU fee refund policy governs the amount that will be given back to students in case of an admission cancellation.
If candidates cancel their MA admission before the final selection for the 2026 January IGNOU session, they will get a 100% fee refund. However, if MA admission is withdrawn after the candidate is selected for the final seat they will be fined 15% of the MA programme fee. But the maximum fine will remain Rs. 2000/-. After the last date of IGNOU admission 2026-27 students have 60 days to apply for a cancellation with a fee refund. After completing 60 days, IGNOU will provide no refund on the admission fee deposited.
