Indira Gandhi National Open University offers 2-year online PG programme of Master of Arts in Distance Education (MADEOL). Step 2: Just on the homepage students will find “Apply Now” icon. Click on it.

Step 3: Select Nationality on the prompted menu. “Indian” or “International“.

Step 4: Registration form for the MADE admission process 2025 is now opened. Enter current email ID and mobile number.

Step 5: Check the registered email inbox for IGNOU student login.

Step 6: Open online IGNOU 2025 admission portal. Login using the newly found admission credential sent by IGNOU to the email inbox.

Step 7: Start filling the application form for the online MADE programme. Enter information asked on the admission form.

Step 8: Upload documents and click on next.

Step 9: Pay the application fee to pay the processing charge.

IGNOU Online MA in Distance Education Fees

MA Distance Education Indian students fees is Rs. 6,000/- per year. This fee is payable per semester after every 6 months. Academic fees for candidates from SAARC countries need Rs. 9,000 per year. IGNOU Online MADE course fee for international students is $ 800/- per year.

Similarly to the MADE academic fee IGNOU also collects exam form fee every semester. Students need to pay Rs. 200/- per theory subject as the IGNOU MADE exam form fees. MADE practical and project exam form fee every semester is Rs. 300/-. IGNOU online MA in Distance Education application fee is Rs. 300/-.

Online MADE IGNOU Study Material

Online learning materials like BSW course modules, recorded lectures and classes etc are available on the Learning Management System (LMS). Students can download these online resources or they can use the web portal to view them online. A login ID is given to them after the admission process 2025 ends. Through this login ID LMS can be accessed.

IGNOU Assignments Online MADE

To help in the continuous assessment of online MA Distance Education students IGNOU uses assignments. IGNOU Online MA Distance Education Term End Examination

Students are provided a final test for their MA in Distance Educatin course as IGNOU term-end examination (TEEs). This is a subjective type 3 hours examination. Every semester end IGNOU releases MA in Distance Education TEE exam forms online. Students who have submitted MADEOL assignments on time can apply to appear for the final examinations.

IGNOU Exam Form fee for MADE theory subjects is Rs. 200/-. This fee is paid for every subject separately and it can be paid online. Practical subjects and project work needs Rs. 300/- from the students. IGNOU conducts TEEs at exam centres. During the TEEs IGNOU MADEOL Hall Tickets are released online for students. They contain all the information about the subjects, dates, and exam centres.

IGNOU Distance Education MA Grade Card

After the release of the term-end results at IGNOU portal final results are displayed online. IGNOU makes a grade card for every subject of IGNOU MADE course. This grade card contains subject code, marks, enrollment number, and other details. These grade cards contain the final result for the IGNOU MADEOL course. To get the final grade card students must complete the admission process. Students can complete the IGNOU online MA Distance Education admission 2025 online.

IGNOU Fee Refund Policy

Enrolled IGNOU students can cancel their Online MA in DIstance Education admission 2025 process. Students get a 60 days window from the last date of MADEOL admission to apply for the fee refund. IGNOU gives 100% fee refund before the final admission list is released. However, MADEOL cancellation requests made after the final admissions have to bear 15% fine on the MA in Distance Education course fee. 

Maximum amount of the fine is however kept low at Rs. 2000/-. After the 60 days window has passed no refund will be made.
