IGNOU Koraput Regional Centre (Orissa) | Admission, Course Fee & Contact Details

IGNOU Koraput Regional Centre: IGNOU will start the admission soon for all the UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programs at Koraput Regional Centre for the 2025 academic session. The registration fee is INR 300 for all the courses. Students need to visit the university’s official portal @ignou.ac.in to fill out the form. 

IGNOU Koraput Regional Centre was a sub-regional center earlier. In the year 2005, it was made a Regional Centre. The primary purpose of the center was to provide educational opportunities to rural and tribal people of the region.

The Regional Centre started with 12 Study centres. Now the Regional Centre has about 50 Study Centres, two Community Colleges, one Partner Institute, and about half a dozen AISECT centers where more than 70 programs are offered to the disadvantaged people of this region to facilitate their educational empowerment.

• June Assignment 2025: Submit IGNOU assignment for BA, BSc, MA, MBA, etc courses before 31 May 2025.
• Addmission July 2025: Fill your admission forms before 31 July 2025 to complete the IGNOU admission process.
• DEB ID: Distance Education Bureau ID is important to track the credits earn in the distance education courses. Make it on UGC-DEB website before applying to IGNOU.
• Students can download the digital degree for UG, PG, and other courses. The degree will be downloaded in the PDF format

IGNOU Koraput Contact Classes

Distance courses contact classes are monthly sesions with IGNOU teachers. Koraput center manages the class schedule for study centers under it. It publishes the schedule on its official website. At UG, PG, degree level BBA, BCom, BCA, BA. etc courses. Whereas Diploma and Certificate short form courses also get contact sessions.

IGNOU Koraput Admission Proces

Complete offline admission process. Visit the IGNOU Koraput regional center for 2025 July session. Koraput students service cell will provide the admission form for every subject and help student fill it with necessary details. Students will need to fill in their personal details like:-

2. address,
3. and courses.

IGNOU application fee of Rs. 300/- per course is collected at Koraput center and study centers under it. Studetns can pay it online with UPI or Net Banking or they can submit the fee with cash money. Similarly, other documents needed are:-

  • Go to Koraput during Monday to Saturday.
  • Go during 10am to 5pm.

For the 2025 session, online and offline learning materials are open for students. However, for online learning material Koraput Center provides

IGNOU Koraput Assignments

Assignments are available. These are graded and counted for students final marks. These can be accessed using

• Offline students Koraput Center service cell. For printed assignments. 

Assignments are graded. IGNOU assignments have 30% marks. To submit the assignments go to the student service cell of Koraput center. Last date for June 2025 Assignments – 31 May 2025.

Koraput Term End Exam

Final IGNOU examinations are conducted at exam centers across India and international centers. These exam centers cordinates with IGNOU regional centers every semester to make schedule and fix timing and paper logistics.

Similarly, Koraput regional center will help eligible IGNOU students to appear for their final examination. Fill out your exam forms at the Student Service Cell at the Center. Enrolled students in courses like B.Com, B.A, BBA, M.A., M.Com, M.B.A, etc can fill the form.

There are many study centers offered under Koraput regional center. Students can choose to their preference during the admission process. However, IGNOU assigns the study centers based on availability.
