Karnataka government has decided to advise principles of the state’s top colleges to motivate students to enroll in numerous academic programs offered by the Indira Gandhi national open university (IGNOU) as the university grant commission (UGC) has permitted students to pursue several academic programs altogether the state Karnataka has to introduce National education policy (NEP) at the undergraduate (UG) level Karnataka become the first state in the country to introduce this policy.
According to the circular on 5 November college principals are advised to spread awareness regarding this new policy encourage the student to get enrolled themselves and avail the opportunity to pursue two academic programs at the same time IGNOU releasing over 200 courses from the certificate course to research degree programs.
