IGNOU Prospectus in Braille Script: Indira Gandhi National Open University released a prospectus in Braille Script. The Speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla launched the IGNOU Prospectus for blind candidates.
The prospectus will further help an individual who is aware of reading in braille script with important information about the university. The script includes information regarding programs offered by IGNOU, the admission process, course outcomes, course objectives, etc.
- Admissions for the IGNOU July 2023 session is open now, and students can apply for all programmes (except certificate courses) until September 30, 2023 at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.
- IGNOU Re-registration process is ongoing for July session 2023, Apply till 30 September 2023 with a late fee of INR 200.
Mr. Birla also inaugurated and revealed the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar at the IGNOU headquarters. The university stated that “The statue serves as a beacon of inspiration for the youth, igniting their energy and leading India to greater heights, guided by the philosophy of Babasaheb Ambedkar,”.
The Speaker further inaugurated an exhibition that consisted of unique startup products and solutions produced by IGNOU’s students. He also interacted with students with the help of a teleconferencing facility available at the Electronic Media Production Centre.
Students shared their views and experiences with the university and talked about the importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Within IGNOU headquarters MR. Om Birla also inaugurated the Research Unit Building and dedicated it to the famous social worker and educationist Savitri Bai Phule Bhawan to pay respect and remember her contribution to society.
