IGNOU Dual Degree Course: Indira Gandhi National Open University has started dual Degree courses in 45 subjects. Students can take admission in two courses in one year maintaining a six-year gap. Apart from this, IGNOU will also provide admission in the Integrated Teachers program for 300 seats from the same 2023 July Session. IGNOU announced a 15% exemption in the fee.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) the same year July 2023, started Dual Degree Programme Admission for the students. This program is under New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 recommended.

Professor Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU said “NEP allows flexible alternatives for students’ education in other programs.” Now students can take admission in two courses in the same year, maintaining a six-year gap. This six-year gap is mandatory and keeping in mind the ease of both courses for the students.
He further added that “ IGNOU always provides extra time for student’s study.” But now NEP has strengthened these schemes and students can study Dual Degree Courses in 45% Subjects” from IGNOU in ODL mode.

Integrated Teachers’ Education Program from 2023 July Session.
New Education Policy comprises the schemes for the "Integrated Teachers’ Education Programme”, which has been provided by the University of Delhi and Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, New Delhi Currently. But now IGNOU will be the third one, to offer an ‘Integrated Teachers’ Education Program’ from this same 2023 July Session.
IGNOU VC informed, “ This is a four-year degree course and B.A, B.Sc, and B.Com streams consist of 100 seats each.” The course will be taught in the 44 Universities of the country this year.
IGNOU announces a 15% fee exemption on selecting softcopy study material through IGNOU App.
IGNOU is providing online study material in order to make education accessible for every student through its IGNOU App. IGNOU VC further informed “ Those students who are a student of IGNOU, can also achieve the study material and Syllabus for their study for free. There is no charge for using the App. Till Now more than 22 lakh people have downloaded the “IGNOU App.”
Students admitted to any course in the IGNOU will be given an exemption of 15% in their fee if they don't want Study Material in Hard Copy.
Ignou in tune with NEP 2020 will provide its education in 13 Local Languages.
